6 Fall Recipes to Try this Month

The temps are dropping, the leaves are falling, and I have Autumn on my mind. There’s something about this season and the rich flavors that come along with it that make me want to be as in touch with nature as possible. Nothing makes me happier in October than picking fresh apples from the orchard and incorporating them into dishes at home. The crisp apple, savory pumpkin, cinnamon, toasted nuts, and squash flavors take me back to the Farmers Market mornings downtown with Sam by my side and a hot cup of cider in my hand. They remind me to take slow, deep breaths, appreciate the colorful leaves lining our streets, and spend afternoons reading by the window.

The cool weather has me craving the comfort of our home now more than ever. Most nights this translates to whipping up something tasty in our kitchen after work and finding a new show to binge-watch on Netflix as opposed to getting dolled up for dinner downtown. It’s no wonder that the majority of my recipes shared on the blog are inspired by (and published in the) Fall.

Ditch your Fall-scented candles for the evening and fill your home with one of these flavor-packed recipes instead. From decadent desserts to gluten-free pizza, a cocktail to entertain, and more, I’m rounding up 6 of my favorite Fall recipes to try this month below!
