25 Nail Art Designs for Summer That Aren't Tacky
Who needs a mani?
Between the pandemic and being pregnant for 9 months, this past weekend was the first time I have gotten a proper manicure in over a year. I have to tell you - sitting in the salon for an hour while getting pampered has never felt more magical.
Naturally, with the warmer weather and new trends come fresh Summer manicures. You know I couldn’t leave you hanging without some inspiration for Memorial Day weekend, Fourth of July, Labor Day, and all of the celebratory moments in between.
While I will admit that some occasions call for going a bit over-the-top, the two areas that I believe should stay consistently classy and minimal are home decor and nail art. This year is a bit different from years past because the current nail art trend is geared more toward bright, bold colors and funky patterns.
Now, I have seen this done tastefully and I’ve seen it done in a way that I would personally label “tacky”. To each their own, of course. However, I wanted to provide some inspiration that falls in line with the current trends while still having the ability to transition well from a professional setting to the gram’.
Although this year may still be considered unconventional depending on where you are located in the world, I wanted to continue my seasonal beauty series to inspire your next manicure, whether at home or in the salon.
