I shared an Instagram Reel this morning that I’ve been avoiding for over 8 years.
Since I began blogging nearly a decade ago and sharing my life online in photos, I have gotten many requests to share my makeup routine. Now, there’s a fairly good reason why it has taken me this long to share. It’s because, well, I’m not a professional makeup artist and I didn’t want to pretend to be the best resource for you to learn from.
However, what I’ve realized is that those flawless makeup videos can feel daunting and somewhat unrealistic unless you have unlimited time to practice and the resources to buy the products and tools they are using.
So, I decided, “what the hell” and convinced myself to share my actual go-to natural makeup routine with you at last. This is my “I-have-5-minutes-until-the-baby-wakes-up” routine that I do basically anytime I leave the house.
Do I use my fingers to apply my concealer and dab some leftover bronzer on my lids for my eyeshadow? I sure do.
