5 Outfit Ideas for Easter
Happy first week of Spring! Easter is quickly approaching, and like any special occasion that means finding an outfit to wear that you feel comfortable taking photos, hanging out with family, and eating loads of carbs all day in. Easter style is all about the feminine, pastel shades and white lace for me. It's about being stylish while also classy enough for church, dinner, or whatever else may come your way.
We are planning on heading to Tilghman Island once again this year for Easter to spend it with Sam's family. Our plans will most likely include homemade paella, relaxing by the water, and chasing Oliver all over St Michaels. Growing up however, this holiday wasn't quite as stress-free for me, I was usually required to "make an appearance" at at least 3 different family gatherings. Our household was usually up by 6am, fighting over the shower, bickering about who took what from each person's closet (the joy of having 4 girls under one roof), and not getting back home until around 8pm that night. I remember the Easter egg hunts at my Dad's house, church services with my Mom, and fancy dinners surrounded by all of my cousins. I also remember my sister revealing to my parents on Easter morning in tears one year before walking out the door that she had secretly gotten a tattoo on the back of her neck that they had been so against (the one that I had skipped school and went with her to get). Phew. That was a fun one.
Now that Sam and I are a bit older, and eventually want to have our own little family, we are leaning into traditions for Easter and determining what exactly that looks like for us. We love spending time with loved ones, but we also like a bit of a slower pace on holidays so that we can soak in the day and really be thankful for what we are celebrating.
Either way, whether you are in the stage of your life with siblings visiting several households in 1 day, setting your own relaxed pace, or have children of your own to get ready, I wanted to make it a little easier on you babes and round up 5 of my favorite Easter outfits that you can pull inspiration from.
1. Spring Stripes and White Jeans
2. Pretty Pink Wrap Dress
3. Off the Shoulder Frills and Heels
4. The Little White Dress
5. Floral Lace Romper
