15 Effortlessly Chic Moms I Love Following on Instagram

Although toxic at times, Instagram is good for at least one thing: feeling inspired. I would say that this is especially the case once you go through a season of your life where your body has transformed immensely and you are thrown into a whole new world (aka Motherhood).

I went through a phase during my pregnancy where I only wanted to follow other pregnant women and Moms because I felt connected to them in my journey. I wanted to know the in’s and out’s of dressing for your growing bump, what type of newborn necessities I should be buying, how their morning routines went, and what a “Mom uniform” truly looked like.

I could read all the books on pregnancy and parenting that I wanted, but to witness how it looked on real, everyday women gave me an entirely new perspective. Social media is an excellent resource for this. The feeling of belonging to a community of women online, no matter how spread out in the world they may be, is extremely powerful.

Not only did I find inspiration through their magazine-worthy nurseries and chic baby clothes, but I also felt inspired by how they remained stylish all the while having a newborn baby (or multiple children). Despite gladly taking on the role of adoring Mother, they still valued their appearance and sense of self. While my pre-pregnancy style was all heels and mini dresses, I felt at ease knowing that I could shift into a more practical version of myself without losing my love for fashion.

1. @alexiaaleza

Between her effortlessly chic outfits and her two boys that could genuinely be the face behind Gerber, Alexia’s account is one of my favorites to follow (and has been for years).

If you are searching for creamy whites and neutrals to add to your wardrobe, her Instagram is the place to look. From watching her stories, you can clearly see that Motherhood is her first priority and the joy that the simple things like taking her kids to the park or snuggling in bed bring to her life.

For me, she is a great reminder to slow down, focus on what truly matters, and appreciate every moment in London’s life while he is little.

2. @hattycakes

You can always count on Hatty for the most stunning hotel and restaurant recommendations. It seems like every time I tap through her stories, she is traveling somewhere new with her beau and baby.

She is best known for flirty cut-out looks that break the postpartum mold. I love how she combines edgy and sexy pieces in a stylish, California-cool way. And her hair, don’t even get me started on how much I (and, I’m sure, thousands of other women) adore her gorgeous, wavy hair.

Her style advice: “My go-to outfit that takes me from zoom meetings to baby play dates to brunch: monochromatic neutral sweatsuit/workout sets paired with fun sneakers and a boxy leather jacket. It’s comfy and so easy to just throw on and go! The look can also be elevated with gold hoops, chunky chain necklaces, and a blazer or trench.”

Once a SoCal wedding photographer, she now lives in the South of France with her French, entrepreneurial husband and their adorable little bebe. If there is anyone on Instagram that I am living vicariously through, it is Maddie.

With her focus being on visual storytelling, you can guess that her Instagram feed is full of beautiful, candid moments with a vintage aesthetic. I would describe her personal style as the epitome of timeless French mixed with California casual.

4. @dressupbuttercup

If you’re on Instagram (and especially if you’re a Mom), it’s likely that Dede is already one of your favorite influencers to follow simply because of her transparency and relatability.

You can count on her to keep things 100% real and can almost guarantee a laugh while watching her stories. I have been following her for years and have loved watching her blossom into a Mom of two. If you are pregnant or going through postpartum, her styling tips and try-ons are the best there is.

She makes you feel as if you aren’t alone when it comes to finding flattering outfits and is constantly scouring the internet for the best deals.

5. @makenna_alyse

Makenna is my go-to for high-end designer inspiration. She is best known for her feminine, preppy outfits and investment pieces like the Dior Saddle bag, Chanel Ballerina Flats, and Prada Jumper. And, although I don’t wear a lot of black myself, if you are into sleek, dark outfits, she is the gal to follow.

She also has two adorable kiddos that seem to be dressed just as stylishly around the clock.

6. @missenocha

Talk about an aesthetic Instagram feed. Miss Enocha has some of the most stunning photos and Reels I’ve seen on Instagram to date (save, save and SAVE). I love how she mixes Motherhood, fashion, and photography into a brand that is uniquely her own.

Her outfits are on trend, but somehow timeless in the same breath. She is another one of my favorite Moms who know the value of neutral wardrobe staples and styling cut-outs in a way that is sexy without baring it all.

Her style advice: “Add pieces to your closet that are versatile and can be worn more than one way so you get more use out of them!”

7. @bresheppard

From natural glowy makeup looks to funky over the top nail art, indulgent comfort food, and casual cozy outfits, I love following Bre for all the things.

She can style a sweatshirt like no one I’ve ever known, and looks effortlessly cool while running errands. If you are searching for practical style inspiration for everyday activities, you’re gonna want to follow Bre ASAP.

8. @cmcoving

A North Carolina girl, Caitlin is my idea of Southern class and style. To me, she feels like an internet bestie. She is one of those girls that you feel instantly connected to when you watch her stories because of how personable and sweet she is.

9. @jesshogancrum

Jessica is my go-to girl for finding affordable, casual pieces for everyday wear and flirty outfits for date nights. I swear she looks incredible in anything she puts on and I love how she styles both neutrals and colorful prints to keep things interesting.

When I say that I’ve never seen so many designer pieces in my life, I’m not exaggerating. Laura is the ultimate inspiration for high-end fashion. Point blank, she is GLAM. I would compare her aesthetic to Dorit from Real Housewives (my personal favorite of the cast’s franchise).

Can I afford anything she wears? No. But, does that stop me from admiring her outfits? Not in the slightest. If you want to follow someone who shares aspirational content, her daily outfit inspiration is for you.

Sazan feels like a big internet sister and is absolutely hilarious (not to mention STUNNING and stylish, obviously). She is a believer and shares bible verses, quotes, and motivation in a way that feels relatable and welcoming even if you aren’t a member of the church.

From her laugh-out-loud Reels to her podcast with her husband, Stevie, called “The Good Life”, Sazan is constantly sharing content that adds value, laughter, and love into your life.

12. @elisecook

When I stumbled across this Australian girlie who lives on a farm with llamas, has a winery with her husband, and the cutest baby girl, I can’t tell you that I didn't question all of the decisions Sam and I made in life.

Following her Instagram stories as they wake up in the back of a van on the beach and jam out to live music at their vineyard feels like I’m watching a movie at times. All of her photos are understandably gorgeous and her boho style in maxi dresses and jumpsuits make every moment even more picturesque.

Christine: the queen of neutrals. She is the quintessential Newport Beach mama with perfect blowouts and polished, yet relaxed style. Her home looks like it is straight out of Restoration Hardware and makes me want to move in immediately (or at least steal her furniture).

Another one of the bloggers that I follow that has a home straight out of a magazine. Jessi’s house is possibly my favorite I’ve ever seen. Anyone who is a big fan of creamy neutrals and Scandinavian influence needs to follow her account immediately for stunning inspiration.

Not only do I love following her for her home and body confident outfit inspiration, but I also love following her entrepreneurial journey as a business owner and investor.

15. @amberfillerup

Amber is the first fashion blogger I ever followed and one of the main inspirations behind starting my blog and discovering my own sense of style. She loves a flowy mini dress with sneakers or booties, swimsuits, and wide brimmed hats. I would describe her style as girly boho with a desert aesthetic.

She is best known for her viral hair braid tutorials and started the well-known brand, Dae (as well as Barefoot Blonde Hair). But, my favorite content at the moment is her workouts and over-the-top creative kid snacks. It feels like my entire folder of screenshots on my phone is filled with snack ideas to make London when he gets older.
