NYFW: Shop My Outfits
Street fashion during New York Fashion Week is unlike anything I have experienced before. The level of creativity mixed with a bold and self-assured attitude is something I was not fully expecting prior to hitting the streets and shows last month. It was inspiring to see each person’s individual style laid out like a billboard on their body. It reminded me that fashion is meant to be enjoyed, and that trying to “blend into the crowd” has no place in my life.
Although I wanted to step outside of my comfort zone while attending my first season of NYFW, I still wanted my outfits to reflect me and my feminine, blush pink aesthetic. So, instead of switching up my color palette, I got creative with new fabrics, textures, and accessories.
Many of the items that I styled during NYFW were already in my possession, so thankfully I didn’t have to spend a fortune to create these new looks. Other pieces that I added were purchased at a discount through either Amazon or my favorite local consignment shop. The star of the weekend, my chunky embellished earrings, were less than $12 (yes, really). I cannot tell you how many times I got complimented on them while out, or was DM’d through Instagram to snag the link.
All in all, I did a lot of mixing high-end and affordable pieces to bring together 3 creatively styled looks that still represent me and my brand.
I’ve linked all of the pieces below for you to shop! (Click on the icon to be taken to the item)
